Eligibility
You must be outside Australia when you apply for your Australian Tourist Visa. You must hold a passport for one of the countries below
Andorra, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK (British Citizens), United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Vatican City. The conditions on your Australian Tourist Visa are: Generally a Tourist Visa (subclass 676) allows a stay in Australia of 3 months or 6 months and is valid for single or multiple visits within 12 months from date of grant. It should be noted, however, under Australia's migration regulations, decision-makers may grant a Tourist visa permitting the visa holder to travel and to remain in Australia for a specified period that they see as appropriate. In some circumstances the stay period granted may be less than the stay period requested by the applicant.
