Single or double entry visa is usually valid for 3 months for entry from the date of issue.
Multi entry visa is valid for 6 or 12 months and only issued according to official invitation for business visitor. The duration of stay of visa may vary.

Length of stay in China on a single entry visa is up to 30 days.
NB: the duration of the visa may vary from 1 to 30 days and the decision for each case individually is at the discretion of the Embassy authorities.

NB:

1. For the time being the Chinese Embassy authorities issue only Chinese Tourist Single Entry visas.
   
2. People applying for the first time for a Chinese Visa will only be issued a Single entry visa.

Under normal conditions, it takes five working days to process a visa, counting from the date when the application is accepted. The tourist visa is usually valid for three months from the date of issue, it is recommended therefore that the application should be sent to the Embassy not early than one month before the trip.
