Nearly all nationalities require a Bangladesh Visa to travel there for business or tourism.

If you are from the following countries you do not need a visa to visit Bangladesh: Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean States - St. Vincent Grenadines, Fiji, Gambia, Guyana, Holy Sea, Honduras, Jamaica, Lesotho, Malawi, Seychelles, Solomon Islands and Zaire.

To apply for a Bangladeshi Tourist Visa you will need:

• A completed Bangladesh Visa application form.
• Your original passport, valid for at least 6 months.
• Your visa application fee.
• Three passport-sized recent photographs of you.
• An invitation letter from someone in Bangladesh or your hotel reservation. If you are providing a personal invitation the person inviting you must attach his or her bank statement.
• Your flight itinerary.
• A self-addressed, pre-paid special delivery envelope.

To apply for a Bangladeshi Business Visa you will need:

• A completed Bangladesh Visa application form.
• Your original passport, valid for at least 6 months.
• Your visa application fee.
• Three passport-sized recent photographs of you.
• An invitation letter from a business organisation in Bangladesh.
• A letter from your employer confirming your position in the company.
• Your flight itinerary.
• A self-addressed, pre-paid special delivery envelope.
