The following are a number of conditions you need to be aware of when applying for your visa:
JOB
In order to apply for a gerneral work visa to New Zealand you must first have an approved
job offer in line with your
skills and experience. Your job offer must be on teh LTSSL or from an accredited employer.
MINIMUM SALARY
There is a
minimum salary requirement for the Work to Residence Visa of NZ$50, 000 per annum. If you drop below the minimum salary requirement per year then you will be subject to losing your visa.
CV WITH QUALIFICATIONS
You need to prove formal qualification(s) or relevant industry experience.
You also must complete a
New Zealand Skill Assessment of your skills. Migration.ie will organise this for you.
PROFESSION
While on your Work to Residence visa you must stay within your chosen profession / occupation.
X-RAY
After you have been notified by Migration.ie that it is likely that you will be approved for the work visa, X-rays are required. These X-rays must be lodged by us unopened to the DIMA. Note that X-rays must be less than 12 months old, and taken by a Panel Doctor appointed by the New Zealand Government to perform X-rays and medical examinations. Records
When applying for your Work to Residence it is important that you inform us if:
- You or any of your dependant family members have a criminal record.
- You or any of your dependant family members have any health issues.
- You or any of your dependant family members have breached the conditions of a previous visa to New Zealand.
