To be eligible for sponsorship under this US Visa category you must have been employed outside the US with the company for at least one continuous year within the three years prior to the visa application. This includes working for the company’s subsidiary, parent, affiliate or branch offices.

You must have been employed as a manager/executive, or have specialist knowledge of the company’s products, services, research, systems, techniques, management or procedures.

To qualify as a sponsor of a USA L1 Visa the international company must be either a US or foreign organisation with operations in US.
