Shall I have an offer of employment prior to lodging my UK Ancestry Visa application?
All though it is not necessary it is strongly advisable and advantageous to have a firm offer of employment in the UK upon submitting your visa application.

Do I need to attend a biometric appointment as a part of my visa application?
Yes. The British High Commission have introduced digital fingerprinting as of December 1, 2007. Once Visa First receive your completed application and payment we will submit it to the Immigration Authorities and will then provide you with full instructions on the further steps of your application, thus including details on the biometric (fingerprinting) appointment with the Consular representatives.
