If you are a non-EEA National who intends to come to Ireland in order to establish a business, you will require a Business Permission.

Under this permit, you must create employment (other than your own) and show personal investment of €300,000 or more. This is a very specific scheme and there are no exemptions to the €300,000 minimum investment requirement, unless you are a well-known artist, writer or a crafts person. If you would like to invest in Ireland, however you do not have the required funds for the Business permission, you may also consider the Irish Start-up Entrepreneur Programme.

The Business permission is granted for an initial period of 12 months. You will be issued a letter granting you permission to engage in business within these 12 months.

If you would like to renew your business permission, it is advisable that you lodge your application 1-2 months prior to the expiry date of your existing permit. If your application for extension is approved you will be allowed to stay for further 12 months.

Thank you for checking in and thanks to all in Visa First for all your help for my initial move to Sunny Australia in 2014. Have recommended you to all my friends planning to do the same. Thanks again, Lisa-Marie

I just wanted to thank Visa First for the processing of our application. We were fortunate to have Nicky Andrews assist us with our application. She was immediately helpful from when she first took on my queries. Nicky constantly kept us updated via email and/or phone. When we asked questions she responded immediately. She also helped us track our application when it was being handled by the consulate. I am more than happy to promote your services to others. Many thanks especially to Nicky.

I had applied for my Irish Green Card through you guys and finally I got the permit from India. There were a few hassles with the Irish Embassy in India where they kept asking for my P60, Bank statements, etc. but Brian, my manager intervened and got it sorted through visafirst.com. Many thanks to you both for taking my application and processing it.

Cheers for all your help. I'd just like to say I have found visafirst very good people to do business with. Very helpful, fast and efficient. Thanks for returning my call at the time you said you would and for advising me on the pack for New Zealand which includes the bank account and IRD number. You have made my heading to New Zealand less stressfull. Much appreciated.

Hi Debbie, Thats the best news I've heard all year! Let's hope this is the start of more good news to come! I was really so worried! Thanks for being so patient with us and for keeping us posted. I know this is only the first step but we're going to stay postive and with a lot of luck things will move swiftly and smoothly! I've sent away for Richards PPC last week so you should be receiving that in the next few weeks. Thanks again for your kind assistance! Kind regards Richard and Terisha
