About the Canadian Working Holiday Visa

General Information

If you have ever wondered what it’s really like to live, work and travel in Canada, perhaps you should be considering applying for a Canada working holiday visa.

The Canada working holiday visa – also referred to as an IEC working holiday visa – provides young individuals with the opportunity to experience the Canadian way of life.

With this IEC visa, you can work in Canada and embrace the Canadian lifestyle for up to 12 or 24 months (visa duration depends on your country of citizenship).

To be eligible for this visa, you must be aged 18 – 30 (or 35 for some nationalities).

Working holiday visas are distributed through nationality ‘pools’. Each eligible country is allocated a specified number of visas each year. Individuals must first create an IEC candidate profile in order to apply. Successful candidates will then receive an invitation to complete their applications.

The IEC visa can be secured easily online with Visa First.

We will guide you through your Canadian working holiday visa application to ensure you have the best possible chance of receiving your visa.
